It all started in 2018, when Hamza was in high school.
The classrooms were always too cold, and he liked sleeping during class, so wearing hoodies every day became a must.
It was simple, hoodies were part of his routine.
But even then, he wanted something more.
He wanted his hoodies to feel special, something different from what everyone else was wearing, something no one else had.
One day, it was his birthday and his mom gave him some money to buy himself a gift.
Without hesitation, he went out looking for hoodies.
He searched around Jeddah, store after store, but nothing felt right.
Everything looked the same. and the ones that stood out were way too pricey.
Nothing had that feeling he was searching for.
So he came back home and told his mom,
“There are no cool hoodies in stores. I wish I could make my own.”
That moment was the spark. That was the beginning of PRECIOUS.
After that, Hamza stopped going out during breaks at school.
He stayed in class, thinking about designs, colors, and names.
He didn’t know exactly where to start, but he was sure about what he wanted PRECIOUS to represent, something original, meaningful, unique, and built with care.
For the next year, he tried so many samples to learn about fabrics, printing, designing, production.
Then came Covid.
While the world paused, he worked on PRECIOUS every single day while waiting for the moment the world would open again.
the first approved precious samples recieved from a factory in the United States.
When the curfew finally ended, it was time.
PRECIOUS launched, one of the first new brands to open in Jeddah.
It wasn’t about money or fame, it was about turning an idea into something real, and creating what he couldn’t find anywhere else.
